Title: Just learned of Larry's passing
I was shocked and greatly saddened to hear about Larry. He taught me so very much, not only Civil War history and how to operate safely a mountain howitzer but also many life lessons. He always seemed upbeat and level headed when all around was chaos. I will remember always the many gatherings around the fire at camp, passing the fruit jar, and the many many laughs. He moves on to a much better place and with some old friends too. Phil and Malcolm are two personalities that I will never forget and had it not been for Larry I would never had the pleasure of their company. For that I am eternally grateful. Myself and my whole family are better people for knowing Larry. Liz and I will try to make the memorial service. God bless you.
