Kenneth Hamblin, Sr. Obituary

Kenneth J. Hamblin, Sr. age 73 of Addison passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Absolute Care Three Rivers in Painted Post, NY. Born May 31, 1950 in Blossburg, he was the son of the late Wilber O. and Helen M. (Owlett) Hamblin. Ken was a lifelong farmer, who loved milking his cows, riding horses, fixing lawnmowers and square dancing. He is survived by his siblings, Janet L. Burgess of Addison, Patti and Wesley Baker of Addison, Wilma Jones of Elsberry, MO, Dottie Stapleton of Corning, NY, Virginia and Wyatt Wolf of Rotonda West, FL, Evelyn Brown of Columbus, GA, Roger and Deb Hamblin of LeRoy, NY, Jim and Kathy Hamblin of Addison and Jerry and Joye Hamblin; a son, Kenneth J. Hamblin, Jr. of Bath, NY; a daughter, Jeannie Hamblin of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Topaz and Leon; brothers in law, Bob Towsley Sr. and Larry Mundy and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee Hamblin; sisters, Phyllis Towsley and Judy Mundy and a brother, Leonard Hamblin. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Tuesday, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial will be held at a later date in the Nelson Cemetery. www.kenyonfuneralhome.com.
